I welcome people of all ages, racial and cultural backgrounds, religious and spiritual beliefs, sexual orientations, relationship configurations, gender expressions, political affiliations, and socioeconomic groups.
Our work together is based on forming a therapeutic relationship that helps us better understand you and your ways of relating to the world. By doing this, we are able to figure out how you can make the changes you desire for your life. This is an individualized way of approaching therapy that focuses on your specific strengths and needs while empowering you through connection to grow and move forward. This approach not only offers relief of symptoms like anxiety and depression, but also an opportunity to make lasting personal changes leading to a more fulfilling life. It works well with individuals of all ages, as well as couples and families.

Approaches Based on Age
When working with adults and adolescents, I use a talk therapy approach, where we create space to discuss your thoughts, feelings, and concerns in a safe, accepting atmosphere.
Working with children requires a more direct approach, as children are still learning how to express themselves verbally. Depending on the child's age, temperament, and the reasons the child is coming to therapy, I will use a blend of dynamic play therapy, therapeutic storytelling, and artistic approaches to help your child feel safe and comfortable to explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns. In working with children, it is very important to have regular contact with their parents in order to understand what else is going on in the rest of the child's life and environment.
