I am a clinical social worker licensed in the state of Michigan. I have a bachelor’s degree in social work from Eastern Michigan University, where I focused on generalist practice with marginalized populations. I have a master’s degree in social work from Wayne State University, where I specialized in psychodynamic clinical practice. I am currently finishing my Ph.D in clinical social work at the Institute for Clinical Social Work (ICSW). At ICSW, I have received advanced theoretical and clinical training in providing psychodynamic psychotherapy. My current research focuses are subjectivity, gender, embodiment, and pregnancy/postpartum.

Prior to entering private practice, I worked for community-based agencies that provided programming and services related to substance use, domestic violence, sexual assault, hunger, and homelessness. I also volunteered and worked as a birth and postpartum doula. A doula is a professional who provides practical and emotional support to individuals, couples, and families during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum periods. My training and experience as a doula supplement my academic and clinical training.

My fee for therapy and therapeutic consultations is $140 for a 45-minute session. I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO.

I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO (this is not the same network as Blue Care Network, unfortunately). If you have a different insurance, you may be able to use your out-of-network benefits, health savings account, or flex savings account to cover some or all of the costs of our sessions.
